What’s New

Hello! Long time no chat. I’ve missed sharing with you.

One of my business goals for 2019 is writing more for the blog. Considering it is now March and this is the first post I’m making, as you can see, it’s not going remarkably well. That being said, since I didn’t post even once in 2018 or 2017, once I hit publish on this I will have posted more in 2019 than the previous two years combined. LOL!

Along with wanting to share more, my personal goal has been to let go a of perfectionism a bit, and judging by the number of “drafts” I have for blog articles that I have written, but not published, it is beyond time to implement that goal. So hopefully, I can combine the two goals and share more with you this year.

As for what has been going on, things have been rolling along smoothly. I continue to focus on family portraiture with some high school seniors and newborns along the way. My prices and offerings haven’t changed in a couple years, but I’ve spent the beginning of this year making some changes based on what has historically been the most popular along with some new ideas I’ve been dreaming up. I want to make things as easy as possible for you to get just the right items. In sharing more, I also hope to use my love of teaching other photographers to help you take your photos to the next level.

I hope all my local friends survived and even had some fun during all the snow we had in February. I went out and had a great time with this young dancer out in the snow. <3 I’ll leave you with some photos from our 5 minute session.

A young dancer puts on her pointe shoes and braves the snow to create these beautiful portraits.Fifth position, arabesque in boots, and a sweet smile were all captured during our brief time in the snow.
